TSA runs the full stage-drape service lifecycle in-house: hire, custom fabrication, installation, fire retardant treatment and maintenance. Every drape is flame retarded to AS 1530 standards, documented for audit, and supported Australia wide.
Drapes are not a one-time purchase. They need fitting, treating, inspecting, repairing, retreating, replacing - and sometimes, on short notice, hiring. Australian-made soft goods for over two decades, since 2001. In-house machinists, full lifecycle - design, manufacture, install, maintain, hire. Folded into TSA in 2023. Same workshop, same craft, now backed by the scale of TSA. See the heritage on stage in our Moulin Rouge soft goods project, fabricated and installed in-house. Start with what you have. New venue or replacement set? Custom Fabrication. Drapes already hung but the FR certificate has lapsed or never existed? FR Treatment. Drapes in service and the annual audit is due? Maintenance & Inspection. Short-term production or touring need? Drape Hire. Yes. Our maintenance, inspection, and FR treatment services are not limited to drapes we manufactured. We inspect, repair, clean and retreat soft goods from any supplier - flame retarded to AS 1530 standards - then hand back a written compliance report.
Yes. The hire fleet exists to cover exactly this. While custom fabrication runs in the workshop, we can supply fire-rated hire stock to keep the stage dressed and the show on. Coordinated through one account manager so the changeover is clean.
Turnaround depends on volume and condition, but most stage drape FR treatment jobs are returned within two to three weeks of receipt at the workshop. Urgent audit deadlines can usually be accommodated - flag the date when you enquire and we'll work to it.
Drape-by-drape inspection, repair notes, cleaning recommendations, FR retreatment status to AS 1530 standards, and a written compliance summary. The format is built for auditors, insurers, and venue managers - keep it on file, hand it over at renewal.
